Primal Hardwere's Neigh Sayer Dildo Review~!

Its been a very long time since I last reviewed one of Primal Hardwere's products, and boy have they expanded! Once a  small, niche company, these guys have bloomed in to a fully fledged store; Primal Hardwere now offers sheaths, dildos, tentacles and have even released their own penetrable, something only a handful of companies have done.
I've always found Primal Hardwere easy to work with and it makes me so happy seeing business going well. I remember when I first got my Neigh-Sayer sheath that they were babies in the dildo market, and now they're all grown up and paving their own way in this competitive business.
Primal Hardwere sources all of their materials domestically, supporting local businesses and economy. They are also very environmentally conscious, using reusable mixing containers wherever possible, and utilizing web hosting with a zero-carbon footprint that is powered by a local wind farm.
All of PH's toys are made of 100% Platinum silicone and should be cared for in the same way as any other silicone product; Wash after use to maintain quality, boil if sharing and for general good hygiene practice and never, ever use silicone lubricant with your toy! Silicone lubricant can irreversibly damage your toy, and that wouldn't be good.
All toys can be ordered in a variety of pre-set colourations; below is an image taken from the website that shows the colours offered right now. Contact them for any special requests such as glow, pearl, and custom mixed colours. They are happy to help!

Primal Hardwere now offers three different firmnesses of silicone, however I cannot confidently tell you how they compare to the other companies'

My Toy

When I reviewed the Neigh-Sayer cock sheath I absolutely adored the toy both when using it with my Fiance and when using it alone, so when I saw that Primal-Hardwere had upgraded the sheath in to a dildo version I knew I had to have it!

image

image

In terms of differences, the first and most blindingly obvious is the addition of a wonderful, swaying pair of balls. This is the one thing that makes the toy a dildo over a sheath.. That, and the lack of a hollow core, of course. There are little to no other differences, especially considering that the toy looks as though it was built off the original Neigh-Sayer cast. This is not a bad thing though! I adored the original sheath so much that I tended to use it solo, making this dildo remodel just perfect.

image

The toy is covered in bold veins and details, such as a pronounced head ridge and a strong medial ring. Offered in just one size, the Neigh-Sayer may not be a one-size-fits-all, so bear this in mind before ordering.

When I was offered this toy to review, I decided to let them interpret the colour scheme how ever they wished! I provided three different pictures of three iconic Pony princesses/queens and left them to it. What I received was awesome!!
It is clear that they chose Moony/Bad-dream Sky-rock as their theme and the colours fit so well. The base is black (which I adore in most my toys) and shaft is... I'm not sure? a sort of fade/split of fluro violet with blue interference pigments, and stormy sky blue loaded with large, body-safe hexagonal glitter. The more I look at the toy though, the more I feel that the blue on the upper shaft is some sort of thick highlight? I can see the violet underneath when I flex it, but it does not seem to have the same qualities of highlights I've seen in the past.. Either way, I freakin' love it, and it's gorgeous. End of discussion!

I believe that this toy has been cast in the Soft firmness, which is akin to the softness offered by both Bad-Dragon and Exotic-Erotics. It's very flexible and bendy, allowing for a more gentle ride. When ordering Equine toys, I always tend to go with a Soft firmness simply because they are blunt and often have a strong ridge around the head, something that can cause a lot of discomfort if used in something a little firmer-- I have learned this through personal experience,  however everyone is different. This is why it is important to consider firmness when ordering your dick.
Primal-Hardwere does not offer things like suction cups or cum-tubes, however I don't think the Neigh Sayer really needs it. The balls are so heavy and strong that they keep the toy planted real nice

In use.

In use this toy doesn't differ much from the original sheath, however it is much easier to use alone. The addition of the large balls provide a decent grip for when things get a little slippery, as well as providing a little more weight behind the thrust, thus making it a little more gentle on my hands and wrists.
As mentioned previously, this toy is fairy thick; the head is super blunt and pronounced so entry can be a little irksome, but once inside the frilled ridge provides superb frontal wall stim, so this toy is perfect for those of you who thrive off of that type of stimulation.
The length is not too bad, allowing me to enjoy the details all the way down the shaft. If there is one thing I dislike about long/equine toys it's that I often can't enjoy the medial ring since it's so far down the shaft-- This toy solves that issue by having a reasonable insertable length, combined with a decent thickness. Yay!
I really do love the Neigh-sayer because to me, it is kind of  the Ork of the horse dongs. It has got a gnarliness about it that I absolutely love, and all the thick, exaggerated veins and bumps really provide a bunch of different sensations. From here on, I'm banning smooth Horse-dingles. Texture is good!
Another great thing about this toy is that it fits perfectly in my Harness! A lot of toys I have to wrangle in, and even then the base can cause some minor issues. None of that with the Neigh Sayer! The way the toy pinches between the lower shaft and the balls allows for the O-ring to nestle nicely against the top, keeping it proud and secure when being worn. This is especially useful when using this toy vigorously, as I have had more than one occasion where a toy slips out of the harness causing unnecessary interruptions to play.

Conclusion?

All in all I adore the Neigh-Sayer dildo. Primal Hardwere took one of my favorite products and enhanced it even further, allowing me to enjoy it with or without my Fiance. I am always looking to expand my stable, and the affectionately named Moony fits right in, providing different and interesting sensations to an otherwise very similar theme.

Pros and Cons!

  • Full custom options to allow a perfect toy experience
  • Provides new and exciting sensations and visuals to a potentially same-y theme
  • Great, direct stimulation to most of the internal sweet-spots.
  • Price may be a little high for some
  • Perhaps a little too realistic for some
  • One size most certainly does not fit all- A little thick for those with smaller capacities.
So yes. Be it Pony, Kitty or Pup, Primal-Hardwere will have a dildo to suit your style. None of those your cup of tea? How about tentacles, tongues and... Cacti? Yes, Cacti. Scurry on over to Primal-Hardwere and take a look at whats to offer.. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.

Interested in new, alternative Fantasy sex toy companies? I reviewed the Neigh Sayer cock-sheath from Primal Hardwere~

The Company~

I had never heard of Primal Hardwere until I happened across a master-post not too dissimilar to my own. Upon visiting their website I was immediately intrigued as they appeared to offer something which the fetish and furry community had been pining after for a good while; Cock-sheaths. Despite their company being in it's early stages, their three designs cover the general bases of most species that people may wish to role play as; Feline, Canine and Equine. Having chosen these three species Primal Hardwere had really set itself up in a good position, as with a little imagination and silicone magic any of these sheaths could suit any fantasy you may wish to enact.

As well as cock-sheaths Primal Hardwere also sells a range of nylon webbing body harnesses. These are particularly nice if you're into bondage or pet play, as well as just spicing up a bare torso with something a little special. They work on a one-size fits most basis, however there is the option of customization when purchasing.

After receiving a lovely email from the owner of PH, I was informed that;
"We are going to be expanding steadily with plans to include many niche products geared toward the lesser catered-to fetishes. Eventually we would like to include a full line of stainless steel bondage equipment, and possibly some larger custom-made bondage furniture. All of our products are hand crafted with the best materials available.
The wearable toys are a custom blend of 100% platinum silicone for a soft realistic feel, and the harnesses are premium US-made nylon.
We try to source all of our materials domestically, supporting our local businesses and economy. We also are very environmentally conscious, using reusable mixing containers wherever possible, and utilizing web hosting with a zero-carbon footprint that is powered by a local wind farm."

I could have transcribed this myself, however I feel it's important for customers to see the friendly tone I received from the owner himself, as purchasing from a new company can be daunting when they're unfamiliar, but let me assure you they're great.

Product Information~

As stated above, all their silicone wearables are made of 100% Platinum silicone and should be cared for in the same way as any other silicone product; Wash after use to maintain quality, boil if sharing and for general good hygiene practice and never, ever use silicone lubricant with your sheath! Silicone lubricant can irreversibly damage your toy, and that wouldn't be good.

All sheaths can be ordered in a variety of preset colourations and custom colourations can be attempted for no extra charge. The only sheath to incur an extra charge for coloration is the Neigh Sayer, as this model boasts it's very own natural mottled coloration. For a full list of the colors offered by PH, Take a look here. Gosh I love some of those color names.

Their sheaths have no extras such a tubes or suction cups, but this should go without saying really.. They're sheaths, silly! Part of me thinks that an adapter (Think Fetish Zone's style) would be a good idea to be supplied for men who're a little short for the sheaths, but from my personal experience I don't feel as though this is a super necessary addition.

Sheaths only come in one firmness right now. I'm unsure of what to compare this firmness to, but I'd say it's somewhere between Bad Dragon's Soft and Super soft firmness.. It's not quite super soft but it's not firm by any standards. It's just about right for a sheath like like this!

My Toy

The toy I have is the Neigh Sayer design. It's obviously the equine sheath and the name just makes me smile.. A double bonus, really! I chose this design because I have a lot of knotted designs and feline's aren't my thing, But ponies.. I am always looking to expand my stable, and this design is a little different to all the other ponies out there. Not only that, but my Fiance can wear this one and save his wrists from getting strained..

I went for the natural coloration (of course) which appears to be a gentle mottle of white and black. On the website it states that it's grey and pink, however some variation is to be expected due to the nature of silicone.

image
When I took this toy out of the box I was shocked by it's texture.. It's like nothing I've felt before in terms of silicone toys. As many of you may know, silicone tends to have a tacky texture especially when it's smooth, however this sheath has more of a velvety feel to it.. At first I thought it had been powdered for transit, however the texture remained even after washing. There are no odd smells so it's unlikely to be something that isn't silicone, but I'm still a little perplexed.

The toy appears to be 3D modeled, however again I am unsure as there is no apparent printer texture and the shaft looks as though it may have been hand sculpted.. The head, however, looks super great and as though it may have been printed instead. There is no surface texture on this toy, but it does sport gentle veining and a gorgeously thick medial ring, adding a little extra dimension in a toy that could potentially be very boring.
image

image

As for internal texture this toy appears to have little to none, which may be an issue for you guys who like a little ridging on your sex toys.
Measurements! The toy measurements are stated on the website, but for those of you reading this, here is a quick run down of the sheath without anything inside of it;
  • Total length from tip to base; 9''
  • Total inner length (Area where penis is inserted); 6.5/7''
  • Length from tip to bottom of the shaft; 8''
  • Length between the head and the medium ring; 5.1''
  • Length between medial ring and base shaft; 3''
  • Circumference of the head; 7.3''
  • Circumference mid-shaft; 5.5''
  • Circumference of Medial Ring; 7.4''
  • Circumference lower shaft; 6.8''
If any of these aren't clear, Refer to the photograph here for where I'm measuring!
image

This just illustrates the key points that I'm referring to.
Compared to other company's equines, this sheath stands proudly as the thickest. What the Neigh Sayer lacks in length is certainly made up in girth. As you can see it's thicker than both my Bad Dragon's Chance and my Exotic-Erotic's Cody! It's not thicker than Motown, but let's be realistic.. Motown is cast from a live horse and the other three are sculpts.

In use~

This toy is multifaceted, making a well worth investment.. Both yourself and your partner can get use out of this item it's a single product that can be used as three; a dildo, a masturbator & an intimate penis enhancer. As such, I will be reviewing this toy from all three of these points of view.
First off, my opinion! Now, I will unashamedly admit that I am big on my equine toys, and this is a wonderful addition to my stable. The toy has a good base thickness even without the addition of a phallus inside of it, meaning that this isn't something that gets overlooked for my other toys, despite being a cock-sheath. If you're going to use this toy solo then you'll want to invest in a fairly slim vibrator or dildo to give the sheath some support as the sheath is not thick enough to support it's own bulk during solo use. Heck, I might even invest in a slim vibrator as this turns an already great toy in to a VIBRATING great toy. Mmyes.

I digress!

Initial penetration both during sex and solo with this toy is difficult. The head is slightly firmer than ideal and it's really quite blunt, meaning that no matter how well prepared I am I'm sure I'll always get a little discomfort.. but this comes with the territory. All equine toys do this to me, so I expected it with this one. Once in, the head gives a delightful pop and rushes forward to where the shaft tapers, settling if I don't immediately thrust it deeper. Again, the slight ridge around the head is ever present but actually feels pretty damn great once inside. Any discomfort present during penetration is lost as the toy is fairly slimmer once past the head. Once I start using this toy at more of a pace I really notice the medial ring stretching me. It's so pleasant to have varying sensations on a toy that looks so straight and so smooth.. The pop of the head, the ease of the shaft, then the surprising stretch of the medial ring.. It's all so well spaced out that you can achieve all of these sensations in a single session of play.

What I love about this toy is that it's an equine that doesn't have a hundred feet of usable length*, meaning I can pretty much use the entire of the toy without flailing about with the rest! Oh joy of joys, this is so wonderful. For a long time now I've wanted an equine that doesn't push too deep on those days when I'm feeling super sensitive toward my cervix. Due to the softness of this toy I can really go full whack when it comes to thrusting and I don't get too much discomfort. I'm somewhat of a masochist so I always expect a little pain when I'm using my Ponies and this is often because of them shoving flatly again my cervix. Also this manageable length allows me to experience all the rings of texture that I love so much on this sheath.

You could easily forget that this is a sheath when using it solo as it's so well designed with both parties in mind that it easily adapts to each user. My only issue when using this alone is the lack of a base, but this could be remedied by using a dildo or vibrator that's shorter than the sheath it's self. I would totally recommend this toy as a solo piece. It's delightful.

In Use, Fiance edition;

In use during sex, the Neigh Sayer really worked better than I expected. After having a fair amount of success with the cock sheath offered by Bad Dragon, I was worried that the differences (thicker walls, closed tip) would add up to a less pleasant experience. I was very pleasantly surprised! The sheathe fit on nicely with a fairly conservative amount of lube to provide a very secure fit, with only a little bit of empty space just at the tip. As the end is fairly sturdy, this gap wasn't really noticeable when we were using the sheath. I found the ball strap quite tight, but then again I'm not a huge fan of them as a feature and didn't get on massively with Bad Dragon's offering either.

In use, the sheath didn't move around as much as I had previously experienced – this may be due to a lack of a knot, preventing her from having more purchase on the sheath than me! The sensation was obviously less than without a sheath, but I don't see this as an issue and was still having plenty of fun regardless. My only real gripe with the Neigh Sayer came when I did. The fit is very snug, which is secure and reassuring at first but upon orgasm became quite uncomfortable.

I wouldn't massively recommend the Neigh Sayer as a masturbation sleeve unless you really want to feel like you have a horse cock. The tight passage does a brilliant job of making sure the sheath stays put, and staying put isn't much use when you're trying to masturbate. I wouldn't call this a point against the product though, as first and foremost it is a couple's toy – and besides, those who err on the thinner side of life or who crave a tight hole might just find this toy to be a great experience. The lack of hole in the tip however causes a fair amount of suction, mind you, which once again conspires to keep that sheath pretty much rooted to your penis. But as I said, this isn't marketed as a masturbation sleeve, it's a cock sheath – and in my opinion, it's a pretty damn good one at that.

Together?

I'd mostly just echo what my Fiance said really. The sheath slips on easily with a small amount of lubrication and once the issue of penetration is overcome, actual intercourse with this sheath is amazing. The sheath sits proud and stays put, refusing to slip about during use. This is fantastic since both my Fiance and I love to go rough, and that can be dampened a little when you're constantly having to fiddle with positioning the sheath back on the penis.

Visually I get very excited at the sight of my Fiance with a horse cock... Being a full time Pony player it's fantastic to have a new item that we can use together during play. It's fun to have my trainer transform in to my stud.. It adds a whole new dimension to our dynamic and allows for a fun power exchange.

From a practical point of view, this sheath adds both girth and length to my Beau, making for an incredibly pleasurable experience. It's so amazing to have something fucking me with life for once. We use toys a lot in play and I often miss a realistic aesthetic such as warmth and a good rhythm, but by using this sheath I can feel him inside as well as feeling skin to skin contact with each thrust, making for an incredibly sexual and intimate experience. It's also great because it allows me to have the extra girth I love so much without having to choose between my Lover or my toys.

And in conclusion?

All in all this sheath is fantastic. From a female point of view I loved this product both in use with my Fiance and used alone as a sex toy, however I can see some Males not enjoying this due to the lack of internal texture and the numbing of sensation due to the thick walls and closed tip.
As with all my reviews.. Pro's and Con's!

Pros!
  • Shorter length more ideal for shallower girls
  • Thick girth is deliciously filling
  • Semi-flared head makes for an amazing, albeit uncomfortable penetration.
Cons!
  • Little to no internal texture for the Men wearing this sheath
  • Big! Thick & Long. No suitable for inexperienced toy users
  • Flared head could cause serious discomfort for sensitive users.
So yes! If you're looking for a new addition to your Stable of Sex toys this pony is perfect for you. Allow your inner stallion to gallop fourth and show your girl some unbridled passion.

So tack up for a bucking good time and get your Neigh Sayer cock-sheath at Primal Hardwere today~

*This is obviously an over estimation on the length of horse toys. I'm only like.. 5'3 so these things seem bigger.
